Responsibilities

  • Deliver garage doors nationwide to builders' merchants and construction sites across the UK using a curtain side trailer.
  • Ensure loads are transported safely and securely through the use of ratchet straps and occasional manual handling.
  • Conduct comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using a company-issued mobile device.
  • Maintain regular communication with the transport team, providing timely updates to support efficient operations.
  • Undertake overnight stays as required, embracing the variety and independence that comes with long-distance driving.
  • Participate in regular training and development programmes to enhance skills and stay up to date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Work on a rota basis including Friday and Sunday shifts.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Hold a UK Class 2 C Licence.
  • Possess a current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC).
  • Hold a Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Good understanding of UK road networks, particularly across Wales and surrounding regions.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to represent the brand professionally.
  • Strong time-management skills, able to work to tight schedules and deliver promptly.
  • Confident and polite communicator, able to work closely with colleagues across transport and logistics.
