Manufacturing Engineer for a prestigious Aerospace client, based in Yeovil, Somerset. Initially a 5-month contract with potential extension.

Accountabilities

  • This is an expert role within manufacturing engineering and could sit within any Production area of the Company.
  • The role works independently with appropriate stamp and signatory / delegation approval or is technical owner for specific product or processes to deliver the following:
    • Technical support
    • Manufacturing work instructions
    • Technical documentation and tooling to support the manufacturing process
    • Develop improvement initiatives to enable production of world-class products

Responsibilities

  • Plan continuous assembly sequences and processes to achieve the build standard, product quality, budget hours and delivery schedule (QCD) as defined by Programme Management.
  • Improve product manufacturing process and set high standards.
