Manufacturing Engineer for a prestigious Aerospace client, based in Yeovil, Somerset. Initially a 5-month contract with potential extension.
Accountabilities
- This is an expert role within manufacturing engineering and could sit within any Production area of the Company.
- The role works independently with appropriate stamp and signatory / delegation approval or is technical owner for specific product or processes to deliver the following:
- Technical support
- Manufacturing work instructions
- Technical documentation and tooling to support the manufacturing process
- Develop improvement initiatives to enable production of world-class products
Responsibilities
- Plan continuous assembly sequences and processes to achieve the build standard, product quality, budget hours and delivery schedule (QCD) as defined by Programme Management.
- Improve product manufacturing process and set high standards.
