Passmores Ltd is a small, family-run local business delivering newspapers, milk, and groceries to residential and business customers. We are looking for a reliable and committed weekend delivery driver to join our friendly team delivering door to door newspapers.
The Role:
- Permanent weekend position working every Saturday and Sunday
- Approx. 4 hours per shift
- Start time 04:45am to help set up newspapers
- Deliveries begin from 05:00am
- Drivers usually return to the office by 09:00am
- Opportunity for overtime during the week to cover holidays and sickness
- All deliveries start and finish at our Yeovil office
What We’re Looking For:
- Excellent time keeping and reliability (this is essential)
- Happy and able to work early mornings
- A full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle (mileage allowance provided to cover fuel and wear & tear)
- Willingness to work additional shifts when required
- Knowledge of the local area is helpful but not essential
Additional Information:
- No experience or qualifications required
- Training and route guidance provided
- A smartphone is preferred to access our delivery app, but paper round sheets can be provided
- Reliability is extremely important, as lateness directly affects our customers
