We’re seeking a skilled and passionate professional to run our state‑of‑the‑art Dental Technology workshops within the Creative Design Industries department, delivering industry‑leading education and shaping confident, capable learners in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

As the Dental Workshop Manager, you’ll deliver high‑quality practical teaching, demonstrations, and assessments in a safe, well‑equipped environment. You’ll manage workshop resources, maintain equipment, and lead on health and safety. Working closely with the Study Programme Manager, you’ll track student progress, support individual needs, and ensure programmes meet awarding body standards. You’ll also support marketing and events, keep records on point, and bring great organisation and a genuine passion for student success, playing a key role in shaping the future of tomorrow’s dental professionals.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working as a dental technologist with knowledge of the latest technologies in dentistry.
  • General Dental Council registration.
  • An assessor or teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
  • An interest in supporting young people to learn and develop new skills.
  • The ability to work successfully within a team.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
