As a Year 3 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across the KS2 curriculum. You will provide in-class support, work with small groups, and help create a positive and engaging learning environment where all children can succeed.
Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support in literacy and numeracy.
- Help pupils develop independence, confidence, and positive learning behaviours.
- Assist with preparing classroom resources and activities.
- Support pupils' social and emotional development.
- Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times.
Qualifications / Experience
- Experience working in a primary school, ideally within KS2.
- A positive, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
