Role Overview
Are you a Support Worker tired of working for companies focused on profit only? Join our charity and make a real difference. You will work as part of our growing Accommodation-Based Services team, providing practical and emotional support to young people aged 16‑18 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in Gloucester.
Responsibilities
• Provide trauma‑informed support and build strong relationships with those you support.
• Assist with moving and settling into a new home.
• Develop and implement safety plans to reduce harm.
• Support individuals in securing employment or training places.
• Teach and facilitate independent living skills such as shopping, budgeting, and cooking.
• Work with a tight‑knit team of Support Workers, Senior Support Workers, Night Building Supervisors, and a Project Manager on a rota basis.
Qualifications & Attributes
• Experience as a support worker in a similar role or relevant life experience.
• Empathy, drive, and motivation to help others.
• Willingness to learn, reflect, and embrace opportunities.
• Ability to motivate and support individuals to transform their lives.

Pay: £12.60 per hour
