Competence in administering vaccinations, including routine adult and seasonal immunisations.

Experience delivering childhood immunisations in line with national vaccination schedules.

Proficiency in cervical screening, including managing nonresponder recalls and ensuring timely follow-up.

Experience in the management of long-term conditions as part of ongoing patient care.

Ability to undertake hypertension reviews and support patients through monitoring and lifestyle guidance.

Experience providing anticoagulation services, including the monitoring and management of patients on Warfarin and DOACs.

Writing records and keeping patients' notes up to date is essential and accurate record keeping in line with practice policy and NMC Guidelines.

Adherence to practice policies and guidelines on body fluid, sharps injury, clinical waste, and manual handling will be required, in addition to being up to date with safeguarding training.

The workload will be a mix of planned review appointments and some on-the-day minor illness appointments.

The ability to prioritise and use time effectively in the daily workload and organise patient care is required.

The Practice Nurse may be required to provide first aid and management of emergencies alongside the medical team if required.
