About the Role
To ensure the Fleet Mechanic team are providing effective and efficient support to the workshop management team, also to ensure the workshop and MOT testing facility operates effectively and provides necessary support to front line services for Cheshire East council and other service users.
About you
- Level 3 HGV city and guilds/NVQ
- LOLER competent
- Managing a team within a workshop, continuing professional competence to comply with requirements of the operator licence
- Ability to cover all aspects of the mechanic role and be able to train employees and advise service areas
- Good knowledge of Maths and English for completion of duties including timesheets and service sheets
