Teaching Assistants Required in Worcester

Paragon Education is currently recruiting caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Teaching Assistants to support a range of primary and secondary schools across Worcester. We have opportunities available for immediate starts and September 2026 placements, including day-to-day supply, long-term, and permanent positions. The Role

  • Support pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs
  • Encourage student confidence, engagement, and progress
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and staff

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children or young people
  • A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to build rapport with pupils and staff
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Desirable Experience & Qualifications

  • CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience supporting SEND pupils
  • Experience within UK schools, nurseries, or youth settings
  • Knowledge of phonics or intervention support
  • Behaviour support experience
