About this job:

  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all Trust policies and procedures and apply them as necessary.
  • Particular attention is drawn to the post holder's personal responsibility for the maintenance of patient confidentiality and adherence to local Health and Safety policies.
  • Observe and implement the requirement of the Mental Health Act 1983.
  • Adhere to the NMC code of Professional Conduct.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of professional matters and constantly keep abreast of research-based innovations in the field of Mental Health.
  • Assist in the provision of activity and statistical information required by the Trust.
  • Utilise all available resources efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist with the education of all trainees as appropriate.
