Reporting to: The Employer

Location: Worcester City, WR4

Job purpose: To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.

About the employer: Our client is a 52‑year‑old female living in the WR4 area of Worcester City with her international rescue dog who is looking to recruit a female Personal Assistant to provide support on an ad hoc basis covering holiday for her existing PA. Our client has mental health diagnoses and is neurodivergent. Our client enjoys activities mainly centred around her flat and garden but is slowly building up to spending time outside in the community.

Main duties:

  • Support to and from appointments
  • Prompting to arrange and book appointments
  • Collecting medications
  • Support with grocery shopping
  • Support to access the community for leisure (when able to)
  • Providing emotional support and reassurance
  • Support to complete any forms / life admin

These duties may vary from day‑to‑day.

Hours of work: To cover annual leave on an ad hoc basis

Rate of pay: £15 per hour

Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References. This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
