The post holder will:

  • Behave consistently with the values and beliefs of the organisation and promote these on a day-to-day basis.
  • Act as a role model to colleagues, always seeking to maintain the highest standards of professionalism.
  • Use their initiative and take responsibility for themselves and the quality of their work and the service they provide to patients.
  • Under the direction of the CAMHS Manager for Single Point of Access Service (SPA), and working with CAMHS colleagues, provide prompt visual screening assessment and triage of all referrals into the SPA, providing information, signposting, or onward referrals for children and young people presenting with mental health problems.
  • Offer advice, support and training to Primary Care and other referrers about the appropriateness of referrals to CAMHS.

The service operates across Worcestershire with bases in Worcester, Redditch and Kidderminster. Base preference can be discussed by the successful applicant post interview.
