Position: Manufacturing Estimator
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Location: Worcester
Salary: £40,000 per year
Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Estimator for our client.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing customer quotation requests and checking all required information is provided.
- Working from engineering drawings and specifications to help calculate costs.
- Preparing quotations using internal pricing systems.
- Communicating with suppliers to obtain prices when needed.
- Updating costings based on supplier responses or revised drawings.
- Recording all quotations accurately on internal logs.
- Checking customer orders against original quotes and raising any discrepancies.
- Handling order amendments or cancellations and updating pricing where required.
- Supporting customer price reviews when costs change.
- Assisting other departments during quieter periods.
- Ensuring tools and customer‑specific equipment are recorded, quoted and updated correctly.
Requirements
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, estimating or technical admin desirable.
- Ability to read or learn to interpret technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Confident using computer systems.
- Good communication skills for customer and supplier interaction.
- Organised, reliable, and able to follow structured processes.
- Willing to learn and adapt to changing workloads.

Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:00
