Are you an experienced Fabricator/Fitter? Are you looking for a new challenging and rewarding role? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Lead Mechanical Fabricator to join our team.
The Role: As Lead Mechanical Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling mechanical parts and products. You will perform mechanical fitting of the range of designs using basic standard manual tools and machines. You will perform basic quality checks and tests of the work produced by the mechanical team and ensure the work is delivered to the highest possible standards and in a timely fashion. You will work with the Production Team Leader to agree work allocation amongst the team and manage stock levels to ensure consumables are available for the required work.
Ideal Candidate: This role is a key component to our process, and we are looking for a committed, enthusiastic employee. The ideal candidate will have extensive fabrication experience together with mechanical fitting experience and be able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Experience:
- Fabrication: 3 years (required)
- MIG welding: 3 years (required)
- TIG welding: 3 years (required)
- Supervising: 3 years (preferred)
