Millison Chase Limited are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Night Drivers for ongoing general haulage and palletised distribution work across the Midlands and UK-wide routes. We are looking for reliable and professional Class 1 HGV Drivers for curtain-sided trailer work with consistent night shifts available. This is PAYE direct employment with regular ongoing work, weekly pay, and long-term opportunities.

Pay Rates

  • £17.00 per hour – Monday to Friday Nights (PAYE)
  • £20.00 per hour – Weekend Shifts

Job Role

  • HGV Class 1 night driving work
  • General haulage and palletised deliveries/collections
  • Curtain-sided trailer operations
  • Nationwide deliveries and collections
  • Typically 1–5 drops or collections per shift
  • Occasional trunking and hub runs available
  • Minimal handball involved

Drivers Responsible For

  • Load security checks
  • Internal load stepping
  • Vehicle safety checks
  • Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and professionally
  • Night shift start times available throughout the week
  • Long shifts available within Drivers’ Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive (WTD)

Requirements

  • Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
  • Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Good understanding of driver compliance and load security
  • Professional and reliable attitude
  • Previous Class 1 general haulage experience preferred
  • Maximum 6 penalty points accepted
  • No DD, DR, CU, MS or TT endorsements accepted
