Morgan Hunt have partnered with a national Charity who are recruiting for an Employer Engagement Officer in Worcestershire. This is a full time permanent role paying up to £33,000. The primary function of the role is to source work experience opportunities for special needs learners aged 16 and over. The role will be based on site at either the centre or clients premises 5 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Engage with employers to source vacancies for special needs learners enrolled on Employability courses.
- Work with a team of Job Coaches to ensure learners are progressing on time.
- Prepare learners for interviews with organisations.
- Collaborate with Tutors to develop an understanding of each learner's career inspirations.
- Capture data to meet Ofsted requirements.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in engaging with employers to source work experience opportunities within further education.
- Experience working with learners with special needs or learning disabilities, or knowledge in this area.
- Knowledge of employment and education programmes.
- A successful track record of achieving targets.
- Full UK driving licence and access to own car.
- Minimum of grade C in English and Maths or equivalent.
