About this job:

An opportunity has arisen to join our team of controllers working in a fast paced 24/7, 365 day control room. Your base office will be at our Worcester depot working on a rota basis of 3 on 3 off for a recovery operator business.

You will be liable for dispatching breakdown and recovery jobs by making quick and conscious decisions to enable the best person to be sent for the job and so the most efficient way is used in order to benefit the company and reduce costs.

You must have excellent communication skills, both face to face and on the telephone. You must be able to work well alone, use your initiative well and as part of a team. You must be very computer literate and able to flick between screens effectively. You must be able to work well under pressure and enjoy a challenge. You must be a forward thinker and enjoy bettering systems to increase efficiency for the business.

You will be required to pass a police vetting check and must hold a full UK driving licence. You will be working rotational shifts, rotating days and nights 2 weekly. Geographical knowledge of the local area is required. Additional achievable bonuses are available.
