The Big Phone Store has been established since 1999 and is one of the UK’s leading retailers of refurbished phones and tech. As we continue to grow our trade and corporate division, we’re looking for a commercially minded and relationship‑focused person to help us build and manage business accounts across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, developing opportunities, and working in a fast‑paced commercial environment, without the typical high‑pressure sales culture. The Role

As a Trade Account Executive, you’ll help develop relationships with trade and business customers while supporting the continued growth of our B2B operation. You’ll work closely with existing and prospective clients, helping manage opportunities, maintain communication, provide pricing and stock information, and support the overall customer experience from enquiry through to ongoing account management.

What You’ll Be Doing

Account Management & Relationship Building

  • Building and maintaining relationships with trade and business customers
  • Managing customer communication via phone, email, and WhatsApp
  • Supporting repeat business and long‑term account growth
  • Providing professional and responsive customer support

Commercial & Trade Support

  • Sending pricing, stock lists, and availability updates
  • Supporting customer enquiries and opportunities
  • Helping identify new business opportunities
  • Assisting with deal progression and follow‑up activity

Business Development

  • Contacting prospective trade and business customers
  • Following up inbound and outbound opportunities
  • Helping grow The Big Phone Store’s B2B customer base
  • Developing relationships that lead to repeat business

CRM & Organisation

  • Maintaining accurate CRM and account records
  • Keeping follow‑ups and pipeline activity organised
  • Supporting reporting and account visibility internally

Working Hours

Full‑time, permanent 40 hours per week. Core hours: 9:00am–5:30pm. Flexibility on start and finish times where agreed in advance. Office‑based role in Wolverhampton.

Salary

£28,000–£35,000 depending on experience. Future progression and commission opportunities available. Performance and salary reviews based on contribution and development.
