An excellent opportunity for an experienced Order Processor to join a well-established company based in the heart of Wolverhampton. This role is ideal for someone with a background in fasteners, engineering materials, or technical manufacturing, who enjoys working with detail, accuracy, and structured processes. We manufacture and specialise in high quality fasteners to customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing customer orders accurately using our internal computer system
  • Reviewing customer specifications, drawings, and material requirements
  • Ensuring correct product selection based on fastener type, material grade, and testing requirements
  • Liaising with internal teams (warehouse, purchasing, sales) to ensure smooth order flow
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and traceability records
  • Supporting customers with order related queries in a professional manner

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in order processing within an engineering, manufacturing, or fastener related environment
  • Knowledge of fasteners, materials (e.g., stainless steel, high tensile alloys), and basic testing standards. API knowledge and processing would be an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach
  • Confident using computer based systems, ERP platforms, or order management software.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to read or interpret basic technical information (drawings, specs, material certs) — desirable but not essential
