Job Overview: We are currently recruiting Flexible Early Years Practitioners to work across a range of high-quality nursery settings in Basingstoke, Chertsey, and Tunbridge Wells. This is an excellent opportunity for Level 2 / Level 3 qualified candidates as well as unqualified individuals with relevant childcare experience who are looking to gain further exposure, flexibility, and career progression within the Early Years sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children aged 0–5 in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
- Deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Assist with daily routines including play, feeding, and hygiene
- Promote children’s development, independence, and well-being
- Maintain a clean, safe, and inclusive setting
- Work collaboratively with staff and communicate effectively with parents where required
- Follow safeguarding procedures and report any concerns appropriately
Requirements:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification (or relevant experience for unqualified candidates)
- Minimum 3–6 months recent experience in a nursery or childcare setting
- Safeguarding Children Level 2 (preferred) (we can provide once registered)
- Paediatric First Aid (preferred but not essential) (We Can Assist with that)
- A positive, reliable, and proactive attitude
- Passion for working with children and supporting their development
