We are looking for experienced Personal Assistants to support a young adult with physical disabilities in the WV6 area. The role involves providing practical support with daily routines, mobility, personal care, and promoting independence.
Requirements:
- Experience in care or support work.
- Ability to provide personal care, assist with transfers, help with meals, and carry out general day‑to‑day tasks.
- Driver with a full UK driving licence and own car; reliable travel and availability to attend on short notice.
- Comfortable working in a busy household, reliable, calm, and able to work as part of a small team of PAs covering various shifts.
- Positive attitude, respect for the individual's dignity and preferences.
Key responsibilities:
- Meal preparation
- Personal care and domestic care
- Safeguarding adults and children
- Moving & handling, food hygiene, first aid, hand hygiene
- Transportation and support for independence
- Social leisure activities
