Overview
An opportunity has arisen to join our administration team in this newly created post, providing full administrative support to the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) team within the Oncology & Haematology Directorate.
Responsibilities
- Undertake various clerical duties associated with the custody and use of Health Records, including all administrative procedures and documentation associated with a patient’s journey.
- Execute administrative duties related to any aspect of the service, demonstrating a significant level of initiative in organising workload and taking decisions within clearly defined limits.
- Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Respond efficiently, politely, and timely to all telephone calls received via the CNS team offices.
- Accurately input, update, and amend patient‑related information onto the computerised Patient Administration System (PAS) and any other computerised system used by the service.
- Accurately scan documentation onto the Clinical Web Portal (CWP).
- Action all administrative instructions initiated by the CNS team.
- Timely process all incoming and outgoing mail.
