Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection of precision machined components
- Operate CMM machinery using Aberlink software
- Generate and run CMM programs in CNC mode
- Conduct manual inspection using verniers, micrometres, bore mics, gauges and callipers
- Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T
- Compile detailed inspection reports and document non-conformances
- Produce CoCs, ISIRs and FAIRs
- Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to maintain quality standards
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and company quality procedures
Essential Experience
- Proven experience in CMM inspection
- Strong understanding of GD&T
- Experience using Aberlink software
- Ability to generate CMM programs
- Competent using a range of manual measuring equipment
- Experience within precision machining/manufacturing environments
Desirable
- Manual handling or lifting equipment training
- Experience working within Motorsport, Automotive, Aerospace or Defence sectors
