We are seeking a reliable and professional Class 2 HGV Driver to support our transport operations. This role involves assisting our current driver with daily deliveries and collections, ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out deliveries and collections in line with daily schedules
  • Ensure all loads are secured safely and comply with transport regulations
  • Complete daily vehicle checks and report any faults or issues
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records
  • Follow all road safety and company procedures
  • Provide a professional and courteous service to customers

Working Pattern

Monday to Friday, approximately 7:00am to 1:00/2:00pm (may vary during busier periods).

Qualifications and Skills

  • Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • Valid Driver CPC qualification
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Good understanding of UK road transport laws and safety standards
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
