We are seeking a reliable and professional Class 2 HGV Driver to support our transport operations. This role involves assisting our current driver with daily deliveries and collections, ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Carry out deliveries and collections in line with daily schedules
- Ensure all loads are secured safely and comply with transport regulations
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any faults or issues
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records
- Follow all road safety and company procedures
- Provide a professional and courteous service to customers
Working Pattern
Monday to Friday, approximately 7:00am to 1:00/2:00pm (may vary during busier periods).
Qualifications and Skills
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of UK road transport laws and safety standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
