Established in 1912–1913 and designed by renowned course architect Harry Colt, this well-established 18‑hole parkland course offers a par of 71 across approximately 6,200 yards. Featuring two loops of nine holes, the course is known for its challenging par 4s, particularly on the 8th and 18th, with tree‑lined fairways, subtle elevation changes, and strategically placed bunkers that reward accuracy and strong course management skills.

Training

Full training will be provided by the employer and KEITS at the place of employment. The apprentice will work towards and gain a Level 2 Sports Turf or Golf Green Keeping Business Administration Apprenticeship. The learner will be allocated an industry‑specific training consultant who will provide both remote and on‑site visits throughout the apprenticeship. The apprentice will work towards an End Point Assessment (EPA) at the end of the apprenticeship.
