KPI Recruiting are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance FLT Driver to join a busy recycling and manufacturing operation. This is a 50/50 split role involving both warehouse/yard duties and Counterbalance FLT work. The business specialises in converting sorted plastic waste into new plastic feed-stock for the UK manufacturing industry.
Working days and hours as a Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance FLT Driver are:
- Monday- Friday 08:00- 17:00
- Tuesday- Friday 06:00- 18:00
- Monday- Thursday 18:00- 06:00 - 06:00- 18:00/ 18:00- 06:00 (rotating)
The rate of pay as a Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance FLT Driver is: £13.71 p/h
Key Responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance FLT Driver are:
- Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
- Moving stock, pallets, and materials around the warehouse and yard
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Sorting and preparing plastic materials for processing machinery
- Supporting production operations and keeping work areas clean and organized
- Working both indoors and outdoors in the yard environment
- Carrying out general warehouse and yard operative duties
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements as a Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance FLT Driver are:
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (in-date and accredited)
- Previous warehouse or yard operative experience preferred
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Good attention to detail and awareness of health and safety
- Reliable with a good work ethic and team attitude
Working Environment: This role is split between warehouse operations and outdoor yard work. Candidates should be comfortable working around machinery and recycled materials within a busy production environment.
