Desian Education are proud to be working in partnership with a single-form entry primary school in Winsford that is at the heart of its local community and Ofsted rated “Good” in all areas as they require an experienced and reliable teaching assistant to join their team on a full-time temporary basis after the half-term. This is an extremely exciting opportunity to join a fantastic school that is held in extremely high regard and play a key role in the education and development of young learners within a nursery class and resource provision. Subject to funding, this position will be extended into next academic year.

Responsibilities

  • Join an extremely supportive and welcoming EYFS cohort, working in collaboration with the class teacher and EYFS lead to promote the development and engagement of all pupils.
  • Play an integral role in the education of all pupils within a mixed nursery and reception class by leading on targeted 1:1 support with a focus on communication, phonics, and learn through play.
  • Supporting during break and lunch times.
  • Aiding with personal care.

Qualifications / What you need to succeed

  • Full “Right to Work” in the UK.
  • An NVQ Level 2 Early Years & Childcare or equivalent qualification.
  • Be able to commit to a full-time contract.
  • Have an Enhanced Children’s DBS Certificate or willingness to obtain.
