This role requires a female support worker over the age of 18 due to a genuine occupational requirement. Therefore, the position is exempt from the gender discrimination rule.

Carisbrook is a supported living service for three females aged between 26 and 62. The residents have complex support needs including learning difficulties, autism, dementia, PTSD, and communication needs. We provide support with day‑to‑day living skills to build independence, structured routines, and meaningful engagement in a person‑centered way.

  • Provide day‑to‑day support and routine for residents.
  • Encourage independence while supporting residents to live a fulfilling life.
  • Promote development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
  • Assist with healthcare needs, including medication administration and accompanying residents to routine appointments.
  • Teach life skills such as budgeting, paying bills, and shopping.
  • Support personal care as required.
  • Assist with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
  • Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
