Role & Responsibilities:

  • Carry out fault diagnosis, preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy industrial plant and equipment
  • Install, repair and maintain mechanical transmissions, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Perform inspections, troubleshooting and repairs using fabrication, welding and machining techniques
  • Do routine maintenance, lubrication schedules and safety checks
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and promote operational efficiency

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Strong background in heavy engineering and mechanical fitting
  • Qualified via Mechanical/Electrical HNC or apprenticeship. Hands-on experience preferred
  • Experience working with heavy industrial machinery or production equipment
  • Skills in welding, fabrication, machining and mechanical troubleshooting
  • Advantageous: Siemens S7 or CAM programming
