The Role Our client is seeking Skilled Operatives to join the team on the Network Rail Reactive Civils Framework.
In this role, operatives will deliver crucial railway maintenance works across station platforms, station buildings, and surrounding rail infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities Safety & Compliance: Operating in a safe manner at all times, strictly following appropriate procedures and site instructions.
Civils & Trade Delivery: Undertaking varied maintenance and civil engineering tasks across the network.
Asset & Equipment Control: Ensuring all vehicles, materials, tools, and plant equipment under their control are fit for purpose, correctly maintained, stored, and disposed of, with any defects reported immediately to Management or H&S. Team Collaboration: Working collaboratively within a multi-skilled team; undertaking general operational duties to meet project deadlines when specific trade skills are not actively required on a job.
Person Specification & Qualifications Our client is looking for adaptable, multi-skilled operatives with a solid trade background in general construction, including: Joinery Bricklaying General Construction / Civils Advantageous Qualifications: PTS / COSS SSSTS / SMSTS PASMA / IPAF Small Tools / Rail Trolley / Chainsaw / Strimmer / Weed Spraying Temporary Works Supervisor or Coordinator First Aid at Work Street Works (NWRSA) IRATA (Rope Access)
All offers are subject to two employment references, a Drug & Alcohol screening, a medical test, and a valid driver's license check.
