Salary: Grade 7, £32,597 - £36,363 per annum. 37 hours per week Temporary until March 2027.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Registered Manager to provide effective leadership and ensure high quality service provision on a day‑to‑day basis through the direct line management of team members.
  • Support the monitoring of service quality, ensuring that all regulatory and best practice standards are met and contributing to the development of quality assurance systems.
  • Work on a rota basis covering weekends, bank holidays and unsociable hours in a 24/7 service.
  • Manage crisis situations calmly and with a solution‑focused approach in a busy environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support staff and build positive relationships with residents diagnosed with dementia.
  • Caring, empathetic and person‑centred approach, with the ability to build trust and support residents with their wishes and aspirations.
  • Leadership by example, creativity, initiative, humour and the ability to work under pressure, maintain consistency and commitment.
  • Solution‑focused mindset and the capacity to work effectively in a busy, crisis‑prone environment.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and will undergo Enhanced Disclosure Procedure and adult barred list check.
