Responsibilities
- Enter patient data into the Pathology IT system.
- Assist with laboratory handling of most specimen types and support analytical processes.
- Perform general clerical work, including daily maintenance of laboratory equipment and maintaining archive systems.
- Complete housekeeping tasks and general laboratory upkeep.
- Support laboratory teams on a rota basis, including late, weekend, and night shifts.
- Lifting heavy objects (boxes, waste) and pushing trolleys as required.
Qualifications
- Good and accurate data entry skills.
- Basic numeracy and literacy standards.
- Conscientious, careful, and accurate work ethic.
- Excellent customer care and communication skills.
- Previous laboratory experience advantageous but not essential.
