Maintenance Operative AASC – Wigan, UK.
Working Hours
Full‑time 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7.5 hours per day (08:00–18:00). On‑call duties once every 8–10 weeks for emergencies.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: £27,500 to £33,500 per annum (depending on experience and skills). Full UK driving licence required. Vehicle and tools provided. Up to 6% contributory pension scheme, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, fuel card and other benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all requested repairs – reactive, proactive, or pre‑planned – are carried out to the required standard and within SLA deadlines.
- Manage own workflow while collaborating with team members as required.
- Maintain health and safety of self and all property users during and after works.
- Purchase and manage materials using a company account card from approved suppliers only.
- Regularly inspect and maintain company‑provided vehicles to ensure they remain clean and professional.
Requirements
- Previous maintenance experience in joinery, fitting, plumbing, painting, or decorating.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the region and occasionally within the UK.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- All offers of employment are subject to security clearance checks and approval by the Home Office.
