The Governors and Senior Leadership Team of St Thomas’s School are seeking to appoint a reliable, proactive and committed Caretaker to join our friendly and supportive school community. This is a key role in ensuring our school is safe, clean, and ready to welcome pupils and staff each day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Opening the school site each morning
  • Ensuring the premises are safe, secure, and ready for the school day
  • Managing a small team of cleaners
  • Carrying out basic maintenance and minor repairs
  • Monitoring cleanliness and liaising with cleaning staff where needed
  • Ensuring health and safety checks are completed
  • Responding to any urgent site issues promptly
