The Governors and Senior Leadership Team of St Thomas’s School are seeking to appoint a reliable, proactive and committed Caretaker to join our friendly and supportive school community. This is a key role in ensuring our school is safe, clean, and ready to welcome pupils and staff each day.
Key Responsibilities:- Opening the school site each morning
- Ensuring the premises are safe, secure, and ready for the school day
- Managing a small team of cleaners
- Carrying out basic maintenance and minor repairs
- Monitoring cleanliness and liaising with cleaning staff where needed
- Ensuring health and safety checks are completed
- Responding to any urgent site issues promptly
- Is dependable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
- Has good practical maintenance skills
