Responsibilities

  • Operate HGV Class 2 skip and RoRo vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Deliver, exchange, and collect containers across customer sites.
  • Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and road laws.
  • Work safely at all times and follow site, transport, and road regulations.
  • Provide a professional and helpful service to customers on site.
  • Support the wider transport and depot team at our Widnes site.

Qualifications

  • Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
  • Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
  • Proven experience driving HGVs, ideally within the waste management sector.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, safety regulations, and compliance.
  • A reliable, professional approach with a commitment to teamwork.
  • Excellent communication skills and a practical, customer-focused attitude.
  • Flexibility to support operational needs, including a 6am start and occasional Saturdays.
