A mature lady with disabilities is looking for a part time PA / Carer to join her small team of PAs / Carers working directly for her under direct payments.

Carers call 3 times a day and mostly in pairs:

  • The morning call is 2 1/2 hours long and starts at 8 o'clock. It involves getting up; giving medication and breakfast; showering and dressing.
  • The dinner call is 1 1/2 hours long and starts at 12 o'clock. It involves giving medication; feeding and chair transfer.
  • The tea / bed call is combined and is 2 1/4 hours long and starts at 6 o'clock. It involves chair transfer; giving medication; feeding evening meal; brushing teeth; putting pyjamas on and putting to bed.

The position is for someone who doesn't want full time hours and is only looking for part time hours per week but is prepared to help the team during holidays. The position is in the Chestnut Lodge area of Widnes and is £13.21 per hour depending on age and experience. Weekend work will be required. There are up to 16 hours available and days to be discussed.
