MET Technician Required in Widnes, Cheshire.
Our client, a well-established accident repair centre group in the North West, is seeking an experienced MET Technician to join their dynamic team.
Benefits: - Β£20 per hour plus a very competitive bonus rate (OTE upwards of Β£50,000)

- Supportive environment with genuine progression Duties of the MET Technician:
- Perform diagnostic assessments and mechanical repairs to a high standard across a wide range of vehicles
- Identify and rectify electrical and mechanical faults efficiently and accurately using advanced diagnostic equipment
- Carry out dismantling and reassembly, including interior and exterior trim, engines, gearboxes, and suspension systems
- Complete precise wheel alignments, suspension setups, and vehicle geometry adjustments
- Ensure health and safety compliance and adherence to relevant industry standards
- Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to maintain smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
- Keep up to date with vehicle technology and complete training as required Requirements as an MET Technician:
- Proven experience as a MET Technician in an accident repair centre or automotive workshop environment
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical and mechanical systems, including diagnostics and repairs
- Proficiency using modern diagnostic equipment and software
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive repair (ATA certification preferred)
