Location: 231 Liverpool Road Ditton, Widnes, WA8 7HL

Pay: £12.60 per hour

Contract: 12 hours per week regular overtime, permanent contract, part time

Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) and weekends, to be discussed at interview.

Role will also include working in our in-store bakery.

Full, paid training provided.

You must be aged 18 or over to apply for this role as it may involve either working before 6am or after 10pm, or some other business-related needs.

As a Customer Team Member, you will be part of a friendly team that is dedicated to helping our customers. You will provide great service on the tills and the shop floor, while also performing a wide range of other tasks around the store like re-stocking shelves and cleaning up spillages.

What you will do:

  • Provide friendly and thoughtful service, putting customers first in everything you do: responding to queries, championing Co-op products and Membership, working in our in-store bakery and delivering a great shopping experience.
  • Support your store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members.
  • Keep the store safe and legal by ensuring shelves are stocked and prices, dates, and temperatures are correct.
  • Help introduce new products and services, sharing experiences with your colleagues so everyone learns together.
  • Get involved in all kinds of activities and events.
