This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week. Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at one of our college campuses in Weston-super-Mare.

Responsibilities

  • Developing creative approaches to engaging with young people through outreach, referrals, and community partnerships to support NEET individuals into the programme.
  • Design and deliver innovative and engaging personal development sessions, workshops, and one-to-one coaching activities with young people supporting them to overcome barriers and make progress toward positive progressions.
  • Lead and support activities as part of learner residential.
  • Build trusting and supportive relationships with young people, motivating them to participate and helping them set and achieve personal development goals.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with young people, particularly those facing barriers to education, training or employment.
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging group sessions and one-to-one mentoring or coaching.
  • Strong understanding of youth development principles, employability skills, and the challenges faced by NEET young people.
