Ashcombe Court location: Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, BS23 2SJ
Salary: £14.40 - £15.00 per hour
Hours: 35 per week
Urgently seeking a full-time Senior Support Worker to join our team in Weston Super Mare. Ashcombe Court supports an 8-bed home for Mental health, Autism, Acquired Brain Injury and Learning disabilities, as well as support with everyday living skills like shopping, cleaning and cooking. Our staff support people to have fun and make every day the best it can be for each person.
If you are a Support Worker or Care Assistant with an NVQ / QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care and the enthusiasm and commitment to live our company values, this may be the role for you.
As a Senior Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including:
- Managing a team of Support Workers
- Providing high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans
- Encouraging good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
- Accurately reporting, recording and maintaining records as required and working to care plans
- Liaising with health professionals and their families
- Completing supervisions and audits
- Ensuring that duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, contributing to a positive, happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home
