As one of the fastest-growing Colleges in the UK, Weston College is an inspiring place to work. This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week. Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at one of our college campuses in Weston-super-Mare.
Responsibilities
- Teaching, training and assessing both in person (in College and in the workplace) and online via Microsoft Teams.
- Assessing learners' work, files and portfolios.
- Monitoring and evaluating learner progress, and developing programmes of study with them, including the development of English and Maths.
- Advising both learners and their employers on their training requirements within your area of expertise.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Relevant professional experience relating to Operational Management and Team Leading.
- Ability to work unsupervised and demonstrate clear self-management when under pressure or in a demanding situation.
- Be willing to work towards an Assessors Award and/or Internal Verifiers Award (if not already held).
- Be willing and able to travel to other sites, including employer locations which may not be reachable by public transport.
- Be prepared to work with Level 5 Operational Management and Level 3 Team Leading Supervisor Apprenticeship Standards.
