Parklands Educate Together Primary Academy is a two form entry school, part of Educate Together Academy Trust that also has schools in Bristol, Keynsham, Bath and Swindon. We are looking for a highly skilled learning support assistant to join our team delivering classroom learning support, group and 1:1 interventions. Experience in working 1:1 with children with additional needs would be beneficial.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting children’s learning and development, and dedicated to helping every child make progress both academically and emotionally. You will work closely with class teachers to deliver high-quality support, nurture pupils’ confidence, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
The salary is ETAT Grade B NJC05 which is currently £25,583 pro rata. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30 to 3.30 (until 4.30 on Wednesdays). This is a total of 33.5 hours per week and the actual salary for these hours is £20,756.
Learning Support Assistants are an integral part of the teaching and learning at our school. LSAs receive high-quality training and CPD and play a full and active part in the decision-making and communication systems across the school.
