TSS is looking for Elite Retail Security Officers in Western‑Super‑Mare to work alongside one of the biggest global retail companies, Tesco. You will be part of a team playing a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of clients, colleagues, customers, and assets.
Job Details
- Position: Elite Security Officer
- Location: Weston‑Super‑Mare and surrounding areas
- Pay Rate: £16.14 per hour
- Hours: 45 hours per week
- Shifts: Working 4 days out of 7 - between 6am until midnight
- Job Ref: (T45)
Responsibilities
- Provide a visible uniformed deterrent, contributing to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff
- Carry out company policy on loss prevention and ensure the safety of staff and visitors
- Lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site
- Observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems
- Carry out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible
- Ensure site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at local level are identified
- Understand and implement any fire and safety evacuation procedures
- Assist, if required by the client, with staff and contractor searches
- Ensure that the security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition
- Conduct yourself at all times in a manner that will bring credit to yourself and the company, ensuring full uniform is worn and SIA licence is clearly displayed
Qualifications
- Aged 18 or over
- A confident communicator and team player
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Tech‑savvy to use digital devices for administrative work
- Must have a SIA licence
- Minimum of 3 years security or relevant experience
