NEW St Georges Nursing Home. An Allegra Care Home. Here at our beautiful home in Weston-super-Mare we celebrate life and our activities programme is an integral part of our care philosophy. This is a hands-on role working closely with our care team, residents, relatives/friends, and the community to provide best quality activities to help maintain both physical and mental health while providing opportunities to develop new interests and maintain current interests.

The role is for 16 hours a week with an agreed schedule over seven days, including weekends. We’re paying £14.60 per hour, and we’ll require you to be flexible, possibly when a special event is planned, and it’s all hands on deck!

About you:

  • Sponsorship, or transfer of sponsorship is not available for this role.
  • You will have experience in a similar role.
  • You’re a people person and you’re (very) good at organising.
  • You’ll be a great communicator with solid IT skills, and a great planner with an eye for detail.
  • You’ll help design our annual activities plans, enthuse the home and community to be involved and share stories about life in the home.
  • You must be able to work in the UK without needing sponsorship.
