Chapmanslade CofE Primary School is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Wraparound Care Assistant to support the Wraparound Care Leader in managing the day‑to‑day operations of our before‑school provision.
Contract: Fixed Term until 31st August 2026.
Working Hours: Part time – 7 hours 30 minutes per week, 7.15am until 8.45am Monday‑Friday, 38 weeks per year (no Teacher Training days). The role requires an immediate start.
We are a small and convivial primary school with Christianity at our heart. Situated in the charming village of Chapmanslade, Wiltshire, our school is an inclusive place where every member of our school community shows love to their neighbour by demonstrating compassion, service, courage and trust. Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will ensure a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children who attend.
- This role involves assisting with the planning and organising of a range of activities suitable for primary‑aged children, taking into account their interests and developmental needs.
Qualifications:
- Passion for delivering high quality and exciting opportunities for children
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work with a variety of pupils, staff and parents
- Self‑motivated, energetic and proactive; will support in ensuring the delivery of safe, high‑quality education and care for all of our children
- Experience of working with children in a play/educational setting
- Food handling experience and/or a Food handling certificate (or willingness to complete one)
- Strong team player
- Positive and flexible attitude
- Warm and caring approach with children
- First Aid trained (advantageous)
