We are looking for talented individuals to join our team as a Tesco Colleague at the Wirral Heswall Superstore. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, maintaining store standards, and contributing to a welcoming shopping environment.
Pay details: Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores inside the M25. For all hours worked between midnight and 6am you will receive an additional night premium of £2.35 per hour worked.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working across the store in service, picking, and replenishment areas where required.
- Putting into practice the training received to work safely, effectively, and serve customers brilliantly.
- Making decisions that are right for customers, delivering routines in store that meet the needs of customers at the right time.
- Taking part in seasonal, community and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
- Being knowledgeable about store performance, understanding the part you play and what to do together to drive service and sales, reduce waste and shrink and deliver profit.
- Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
- Being a brand ambassador – at work on time, well presented, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride.
Requirements:
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Passion for delivering great service, building rapport with customers, and taking initiative.
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate openly with colleagues.
