Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the home and its staff team to provide exceptional care and support for children with mental health needs.
- Ensure that the home complies with all relevant regulations and standards, including Ofsted requirements and Children Home Regulations.
- Recruit, train, and develop a dedicated staff team to provide the best possible care for children.
- Oversee the assessment, planning, and delivery of care and support plans for each child, tailored to their individual needs.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the home, including safeguarding practices.
- Manage the budget for the home effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
- Implement quality assurance processes to continuously improve the service provided to children and meet or exceed ResiCare Alliance's high standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Manager/Deputy in a similar setting.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards in residential childcare.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Passion for working with children and young people.
- Commitment to promoting a safe and nurturing environment.
