Isabella's Homes is seeking a dedicated Positive Behaviour Practitioner to join our growing team as we support individuals transitioning from long‐term hospital care into independent living. This is a rewarding opportunity to use your clinical skills, creativity, and compassion to shape high‐quality, person‐centred support for adults with complex needs.
About the Role
- Complete functional behavioural assessments for individuals who present with behaviours that challenge
- Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans
- Train and coach staff teams in behavioural strategies and least‐restrictive practice
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to promote trauma‐informed care
- Provide clinical input into risk assessments, care plans, and crisis prevention strategies
- Monitor progress and adapt interventions to ensure positive outcomes
- Support referral assessments and contribute to funding and clinical justifications

Person Specification
Essential Experience
- Working towards or holding a PBS qualification
- Experience in forensic settings or community mental health
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- A recognised degree in Psychology (minimum 2:1)
- Experience supporting individuals with autism, mental health needs, or learning disabilities
- Strong understanding of PBS and person‐centred planning
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and across multiple sites
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle

This role requires an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975. Applicants must hold current UK professional registration where applicable.
