£33,731 - £51,942 (plus TLR)

To lead on the effective delivery of Welsh language immersion to support provision in Merthyr Tydfil Borough Council. This will be a part peripatetic model, and the provision will move to a static site from September 2027.

The successful candidate will support learners who are latecomers to the Welsh language and Welsh medium education, as well as those currently in Welsh medium education and requiring additional targeted support with their language acquisition.

This role is integral to delivering the outcomes included within Merthyr Tydfil Borough Council Welsh in Education Strategic Plan (WESP) and will support the commitments outlined in Cymraeg 2050: A million Welsh speakers.

Ability to speak Welsh is essential.
