Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced Weighbridge Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our manufacturing refinery plant. You will be joining our Workplace Security Team based in Bootle, Liverpool Docks, L20. Access to own transport is essential.
Your role will involve managing the weighbridge, monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, responding to incidents, and maintaining detailed reports. You will need to be observant, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills. This is a full-time position, 42 hours per week, working 4 on 4 off on a rota basis, 12-hour straight shifts on both Days & Nights, and this will include weekends.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Meet and greet visitors, staff and contractors and manage the gatehouse environment.
- Weighbridge operator checks – check delivery paperwork and record the weight of lorries arriving and leaving the site.
- Liaison with local authorities, including police, emergency healthcare services or even fire extinguishers in case of an emergency.
- Take accurate notes to complete reports, logbook entries and all relevant paperwork to a high standard - including reporting in detail any incidents occurring whilst on duty.
- Operating a telephone switchboard.
Key requirements will include:
- Access to own transport is essential.
- Valid SIA Front Line SG/DS Licence.
- 1st Aid at Work Cert.
- Experience working with a Weighbridge.
- Full 5-year UK checkable work history.
